Brazilian straightening kit Amend Liss Intensy with keratin 740ml

It's indicated for reducing excessive volume and disciplining frizzy and unmanageable hair, its progressive effect intensifies its results with each application. The straight effect can last 2-3 months, depending on hair type and maintenance with salt-free products. Straightening percentage:

• Almost straight, slightly wavy or with marked waves hair, thin to medium thickness: 100% volume and wave reduction.
• Almost straight hair or with marked curls, medium to thick thickness: 70%-80% volume and curls reduction.
• Curly hair: 60%-70% volume and curls reduction.
• Very curly and afro hair: 50%-60% volume and curls reduction.

Hair type
It can be applied on all types of hair, in healthy conditions, from natural to chemically treated*.

*Important: On dyed or bleached hair a discoloration (up to 2 shades) can occur.

To apply the hair straightening you'll also need:

• Towel.
• .
• Chronometer
• Plastic clips.
• Plastic bowl.
• Pallet.
• Professional iron.
• *The iron must have a temperature regulator to use it at 200ºC.

Directions

1. Preparation of the hair fiber with Anti-residue Shampoo:
   • Apply the deep cleansing shampoo (step 1) until an abundant foam is formed.
   • Repeat the operation.
   • Rinse it to remove the product.
   • The hair is ready for treatment.
   
   
2. Smoothing Application:
   • Dry hair with a hair dryer.
   • Comb it with the thin comb and split it in four equal parts, in strands, tied with a clip.
   • Put an amount of the Professional Volume Reducer (step 2) in the plastic bowl.
   • Apply the product with the pallet on the full extension of the strand, starting from the root to the tips and from the nape to the front.
   • Align the strand with the help of a thin comb.
   • Avoid excess of product on the hair fiber to facilitate drying it later.
   
   
3. Drying and Ironing:
   • Start the drying process by strands, starting from nape to tips with a thermal brush.
   • Dry the strands separately, and then use a titanium iron about 5 times from nape to tips, it is very important that the temperature is 200ºC, for optimum results.
   • Finish ironing each strand, ans wait 10 minutes for the hair to return to its normal temperature.
   
   
4. Finishing:
   • Rinse hair with running water.
   • Apply the Mask (step 3), massaging strand by strand from root to tips.
   • Leave it on for 5 minutes.
   • Rinse it and let the hair dry naturally, or if you prefer, use the hair dryer.

Guidance note:

• Do not wash or tie hair for 24-48 hours.
• To keep the straight effect it is recommended to use salt-free products that prolong that effect, such as the straightened hair range.
• Being a products with no chemicals and with a progressive effect it can be repeated after 1 month.

Our Keratin Straightening treatments, also known as Progressive or Brazilian don't contains formaldehyde or derivatives. They gradually straighten all kinds of hair, including dyed, already straightened, with highlight, damaged, thin, since they don't have chemicals, they straighten hair with a combination of aminoacids (each straightening treatment can contain different types of aminoacids) that modifies the hair structure, approximately eliminates 100% frizz and straightens 95%, providing extra hydration thanks to the Keratin, Argan, Vitamins and Proteins based formulas.

Carbocysteine is the main aminoacid used in straightening treatments, along with another aminoacid Glyoxloyl acts reducing keratin bridges of the hair, changing it from curly to straight. Aminoacids are not harmful to health. Dyed and bleached hair can increase or decrease color, up to 2 shades. There are also Progressive Straightening treatments with Acetic Acid or others.

The effect from the Progressive Straightening treatment lasts from 2 to 6 months, always with a good maintenance with salt-free products (Sodium Chloride) to prolong the effect and not drag keratin from hair. After that time the hair goes back to its normal structure, without damage to the hair fiber.
