Compatibility with Other Treatments

• May subtly lighten hair, often unnoticed, with most clients satisfied with the tone.
• Healthy, non-porous hair may lighten by 1 tone (may alter existing shades).
• Can correct warm tones to cooler shades.
• Never shifts to red or orange unless the client already has those tones.
• Porous hair or high gray hair may lighten more (especially level 7-8 with golden shades).
• For gray hair, use flat iron at max 180º-190º with more passes to avoid yellowing.
• Apply dye 7 days after the treatment or after 3 washes. Otherwise, color may not fix well due to sealed cuticle.
• In cases where immediate coloring is desired, tone with a toning mask.
• Highlights with bleaching: do it 10 days before or wait at least 3 weeks after the straightening.
• Wait at least 7 days for Lifting Apilar and 30 days before reapplying any high-performance treatment. Retouches can be done after 2 days.
