Straight and super soft hair!

The Gold Black Guanidine Straightening 425ml transforms curly and afro hair into straight hair through the combination of active ingredients such as Calcium Hydroxide and Guanidine Carbonate straightening the hair fiber and reducing unwanted frizz and volume. The formula is enriched with Cereal proteins, such as soy, wheat and oat that moisturize, hydrate and protect the hair.

The Creatine in its formula acts on the hair fiber. During the transformation process, repairing and reducing hair damage, providing softness.

Important:
  • Do not use anti-dandruff shampoos at least 2 weeks before and after the treatment.
  • Do not wash hair 48 hours before treatment.
  • Always use gloves.
  • Perform the strand test before application of the product.
  • Do not comb or stretch the hair during treatment.
  • Avoid using heat devices in the next 48 hours after treatment.
  • Do not apply if the scalp is irritated or wounded.
  • It should not be applied on kids breastfeeding or pregnant women.
  • Avoid contact with eyes.
  • Write down the active ingredient of the treatment, since incompatible chemicals from different products can cause hair breakage.
  • Do not apply on dyed (henna, ammonia, etc.) or bleached hair with 30vl to 40vl oxidizers.
  • Dyed hair (up to 20vl) must wait a 30 days minimum before performing treatment and at least 2 weeks after to dye the hair.

To apply the hair straightening you'll also need: Strand Test:
  • After mixing the activator with the smoothing cream, apply a small amount on a thin hair strand of the front.
  • Evenly spread the product with your fingers or with a thin comb.
  • Verify the strand every 5 minutes, checking the evolution of the treatment, never exceed 30 minutes.
  • Waiting time: 10-20 minutes for thin or medium hair and 20-30 minutes for thick hair.
  • Write down the time needed to straighten the hair.
  • Rinse the strand with abundant water and Indicator Shampoo, until you get a white foam, to ensure that there are no product residues.
    • Let it dry and check the condition of the hair (softness and resistance). Gently stretch the strand and watch out for breakage or irritation of any kind, in that case do not apply the product.
Directions:
  1. Mixture preparation: Kit 1 application / 2 root retouches:
    • Mix all the Guanidine Smoothing Cream in the plastic bowl with all the Activating Lotion, mixing it with a spatula.
    • If its a root retouch or short hair, use only half of the Activating Lotion.
  2. Application:
    • Start the application by preparing the chronometer with the time you wrote down in the strand test.
    • Comb the hair with a thin comb and split the hair in 4 equal parts, in strands, tied with a clip.
    • Put the Protective Ointment on the front, nape and ears areas.
    • Apply the product with a pallet on the full extension of the strand, starting from the root (1cm from the scalp) to the tips and from the nape to the front.
    • Root retouches: apply only in the hairline, avoiding the already straightened hair.
    • *Very long hair: it's recommended to do sections 1 and 2 from the nape and apply the neutralizer and then start the process of zones 3 and 4 of the crown.
  3. Smoothing:
    • Respect the exposure time of the product.
    • comb it respecting the hair growth direction, do not put on hats, towels or tie your hair.
    • Continue combing until completing the time period, never exceed it.
  4. Neutralizing:
    • Rinse hair with warm water, without rubbing it to hard.
    • Apply the Indicator Shampoo all over the hair, massaging strand by strand from the root to the tips, until you get a white foam (if it's pinkish repeat it)
  5. Finishing:
    • Remove excess water with a towel, apply the Ultra Softening Conditioner, leave it on for 5 minutes.
    • Comb it, avoiding heat appliances (hair dryer, iron,etc..)
Guidance Note:
  • Wait at least 48 hours to use heat appliances.
  • The use of moisturizing maintenance products is recommended.
  • Root retouches after 60 days.
About the permanent straightening:
The permanent straightening, is permanent and smooths the hair fiber through chemical ingredients. Guanidine or ammonium thioglycolate are the most used chemicals that change the hair structure from curly to straight, definitely breaking the keratin bridges, while the neutralizer makes new bridges to give a straight effect.

That effect lasts indefinitely and cannot be repeated on the already straightened part of the hair, only on the new roots. Do not use on chemically treated hair dyed, with highlights or bleached, earlier than six months before the application of the product.

It is essential to perform the strand test before applying the treatment, read the instructions before manipulating the product. It is recommended to use softening and strengthening maintenance products, preferably salt-free (Sodium Chloride).
